VITICULTURE: Coming from the Cima Corgo sub-region, from vineyards planted between 550 and 650 meters of altitude
GRAPE VARIETIES: 100 % Moscatel Galego Branco
VINIFICATION: Vinification using the traditional method of „Moscatel do Douro”, produced in this region. Fermentation with skin maceration took
place under controlled temperature and was stopped by the addition of wine brandy. The entire winemaking process took into
account the grape variety, its degree of maturation and the desired sweetness.
AGEING: This wine is the result of a selection and combination of Douro muscat, aged in oak casks whose average age is 10 years.
SENSORIAL ANALYSIS:
Color: Bright golden color.
Aroma: Nose marked by aromas of candied orange and tangerine, combined with aromas of dried figs and honey.
Taste: In the mouth it is unctuous, with a characteristic sweetness of the variety, combined with an agreeable and enveloping
freshness. Finishes complex and long aftertaste.
SUGGESTIONS
Consumption: „It is a wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif, pairing well with dried fruits, some types of smoked foods, aged cheeses. It is
also an excellent accompaniment to sweet conventual desserts, fruit pies. Serve chilled, at a temperature between 10ºC and
12ºC .”
Conservation: Bottle standing at a constant temperature and protected from light. After opening, consume, preferably, between 1 and 4
months.
