The<\/span><\/span> grapes were<\/span><\/span> were<\/span><\/span> sourced<\/span><\/span> exclusively<\/span><\/span> from<\/span><\/span> Pal\u00e1cio<\/span><\/span> da<\/span><\/span> Anadia<\/span><\/span> vineyards,<\/span><\/span> located<\/span><\/span> at<\/span><\/span> the<\/span><\/span> count<\/span><\/span> of<\/span><\/span> Anadia <\/span><\/span>chateau<\/span><\/span> in<\/span><\/span> Mangualde<\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/span> 500<\/span><\/span>m<\/span><\/span> altitude,<\/span><\/span> on<\/span><\/span> a<\/span><\/span> granit<\/span><\/span> soil<\/span><\/span> plateau,<\/span><\/span> surrounded<\/span><\/span> by<\/span><\/span> the<\/span><\/span> D\u00e3o<\/span><\/span> natural<\/span><\/span> reserve <\/span><\/span>forest,<\/span><\/span> with<\/span><\/span> abundant<\/span><\/span> pine,<\/span><\/span> cedar<\/span><\/span> and<\/span><\/span> oak<\/span><\/span> trees<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>

WINEMAKING<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\n

The fresh grapes harvested by hand, in 20 kg boxes, are quickly transported to the winery where they are de-stemmed, crushed and placed in a vat where they undergo a slight skin maceration and then progressively pressed. Fermentation took place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 12 – 14\u00b0C for 2 weeks (60%) and the remainder (40%) in French oak barrels of 225 L, 300 L and 500 L. After fermentation, the wine aged on the lees, with batt\u00f4nage weekly, for 12 months, for in order to maintain its freshness and gain complexity. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Recommended to accompany soft cheeses, fatty fish and white meats. Serve at 12\u00bac. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
